OVERVIEW
Welcome to Mobile Master Mechanic. The terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to Angie's Auto Supplies Inc. Angie's Auto Supplies Inc. operates the Mobile Master Mechanic mobile application, including all related information, content, features, AI diagnostic tools, work-order generation, garage records, and services, in order to provide you, the user, with an AI-assisted vehicle diagnosis and service-tracking experience (the "App"). The App is owned and operated by Angie's Auto Supplies Inc., a registered Oregon corporation, and is powered by Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Anthropic (the AI engine that produces diagnoses), and the Apple App Store and Google Play Store (distribution and subscription billing), which enable us to provide the App to you.
The below terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (these "Terms of Service" or "Terms") describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the App. Please read these Terms of Service carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as the AI Diagnostic Disclaimer, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy, you should not use or access the App.
These Terms apply to the App only. Your use of our website and online store at carlotsupplies.com is governed by the website Terms of Service. If you use both, both sets of Terms apply.
SECTION 1 — ACCEPTANCE AND ELIGIBILITY
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your state, province, or country of residence. The App is not directed to or intended for use by anyone under 18.
To use the App, you may be asked to provide certain information, such as your email address and basic profile information. You represent and warrant that all the information you provide in the App is correct, current, and complete and that you have all rights necessary to provide this information.
SECTION 2 — YOUR ACCOUNT
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your account to any other person. If you suspect any unauthorized access to your account, you must notify us immediately at angela@carlotsupplies.com.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that we determine, in our sole discretion, is being used in violation of these Terms or in a manner that could harm us, the App, or other users.
SECTION 3 — SUBSCRIPTION AND BILLING
The App is offered on a subscription basis with the following standard plans (subject to change at our discretion):
- Day Pass — single-purchase, 24-hour unlimited access.
- Monthly Pro — recurring monthly subscription with unlimited AI diagnostics, work orders, and garage history.
Limited features may also be available without a subscription.
All subscriptions and one-time purchases for the App are processed through your platform's app store — the Apple App Store on iOS and Google Play Store on Android ("App Stores") — under their billing terms. You authorize the applicable App Store to charge the payment method associated with your App Store account at the prices in effect at the time of purchase.
Posted prices do not include taxes, which may be assessed by your App Store based on your billing region. Prices, discounts, and promotional offers are subject to change without notice; the price charged for a subscription period will be the price in effect at the time that period begins.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information to your App Store, and to promptly update that information as needed.
SECTION 4 — AUTOMATIC RENEWAL AND CANCELLATION
Recurring subscriptions (such as Monthly Pro) automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
You can cancel your subscription at any time directly through your App Store account:
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Mobile Master Mechanic → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Mobile Master Mechanic → Cancel.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You retain access to subscription features until the end of that period. Uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel your subscription — you must cancel through your App Store.
SECTION 5 — REFUNDS
All subscription and one-time purchases are processed by the applicable App Store, and refund requests are governed by that App Store's refund policy. We are not able to issue refunds for App Store purchases directly.

Except as required by law, all sales are final at the App level.
SECTION 6 — AI DIAGNOSTIC DISCLAIMER
Read this section carefully. It limits the risks of using the App.
The App provides diagnoses, work orders, parts recommendations, repair steps, cost estimates, and other guidance generated by an artificial intelligence system based on the symptoms, vehicle information, and content you submit. This guidance is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not professional automotive, mechanical, safety, or engineering advice, and it is not a substitute for inspection, diagnosis, or repair by a qualified, licensed mechanic.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI output may be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your vehicle, region, or specific circumstances. Vehicle systems vary widely; the App cannot physically inspect your vehicle.
- You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on App output, including whether to attempt a repair yourself, drive a vehicle, purchase parts, or take any other action.
- Improperly performed repairs can cause property damage, injury, or death. Always consult a qualified mechanic before performing any repair you are not fully trained and equipped to complete safely.
- The App does not constitute a warranty, certification, inspection, or guarantee of any vehicle's condition, safety, or roadworthiness.
- If a vehicle exhibits symptoms that may affect safety — such as brake failure, steering problems, fire or smoke, fuel leaks, or loss of control — stop using the vehicle and contact a qualified mechanic, towing service, or emergency services immediately. Do not rely on the App in safety-critical situations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Angie's Auto Supplies Inc. and its affiliates, employees, and service providers disclaim all liability for any consequence of your reliance on App output, including damage to property, personal injury, or financial loss.
SECTION 7 — YOUR CONTENT
You may submit content to the App, including vehicle information, symptom descriptions, photos, notes, and other materials ("Your Content"). You retain ownership of Your Content. By submitting Your Content, you grant Angie's Auto Supplies Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and process Your Content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving the App and providing the diagnostic features you request.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit Your Content and that Your Content does not violate the rights of any third party or any applicable law.
We may transmit Your Content to our AI service provider (Anthropic) to generate diagnoses, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use Your Content for advertising, and we do not sell Your Content.
SECTION 8 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, trademarks, brands, text, images, graphics, AI prompts, character designs (including the "Hank" character), interfaces, video, and audio in the App are owned by Angie's Auto Supplies Inc., its affiliates, or licensors, and are protected by U.S. and foreign intellectual property laws. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Any unauthorized copying, redistribution, modification, or commercial use is prohibited.
SECTION 9 — PROHIBITED USES
You may use the App for lawful purposes only. Prohibited uses include, without limitation:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App, except where expressly permitted by law.
- Scraping, harvesting, or extracting data from the App by automated means.
- Transmitting malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- Using the App to harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
- Submitting content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Using the App to develop a competing product or service.
- Sharing your account credentials with others or allowing others to use your subscription.
- Using the App in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the App or interfere with another user's use of the App.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaging in prohibited uses without notice.
SECTION 10 — THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App relies on third-party service providers, including Apple, Google, Supabase, Anthropic, and (where applicable) RevenueCat and Expo Application Services. The App may also contain hyperlinks to third-party websites or include third-party-supplied content. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service or website. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to those services' own terms and privacy policies.
SECTION 11 — PRIVACY POLICY
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it.
SECTION 12 — APP STORE TERMS
The App is licensed (not sold) to you. The license is granted under these Terms and is also subject to the standard end-user license agreements of the App Store from which you obtained the App. In particular:
Apple App Store users: These Terms are between you and Angie's Auto Supplies Inc. only, and not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance and support services for the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Google Play users: Your use of the App is subject to the Google Play Terms of Service available at https://play.google.com/about/play-terms/.
SECTION 13 — FEEDBACK
If you submit reviews, comments, suggestions, or feature requests ("Feedback"), you grant Angie's Auto Supplies Inc. a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use and display such Feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.
SECTION 14 — TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. You may terminate your access at any time by deleting your account from the App's Settings screen and uninstalling the App. Sections on Intellectual Property, Your Content, AI Diagnostic Disclaimer, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law will survive termination.
SECTION 15 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or quiet enjoyment. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any errors will be corrected. Any reliance on the App is at your sole risk.
SECTION 16 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Angie's Auto Supplies Inc., its affiliates, employees, officers, directors, service providers, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, vehicle damage, personal injury, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In any case, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the greater of fifty U.S. dollars ($50.00) or the total amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
SECTION 17 — INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Angie's Auto Supplies Inc., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers (including Apple, Google, Supabase, and Anthropic) from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or (d) any content or action attributable to your account.
SECTION 18 — DISPUTE RESOLUTION
We hope to resolve any disputes informally. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at angela@carlotsupplies.com and attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith for at least 30 days.
If the dispute is not resolved through informal negotiation, any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Oregon, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. You and Angie's Auto Supplies Inc. agree to waive any right to a jury trial in any such action.
SECTION 19 — GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
SECTION 20 — SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 21 — WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Failure to enforce any right under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Angie's Auto Supplies Inc. regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements regarding the same subject matter.
SECTION 22 — ASSIGNMENT
You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law without notice to you.
SECTION 23 — CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced in the App and at the canonical URL of these Terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms reflects the most recent version. Your continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
